But, I'm willing to try just about anything. I'll be clear: I know this is very unlikely to work. (yabridge gives "0024:err:module:_wine_process_init failed to load", even in what I believe is the latest wine-staging.) I've been able to get the licenses transferred to the Linux machine, but am not able to run the VSTs themselves after trying Carla, LinVst and yabridge. Both use machine-based iLok, which is evidently working now in the latest wine-staging. I'd also really like to get EastWest Hollywood Orchestra working. I also got back into transcribing and messing around with composing in Reaper recently, and it's great, but I'd like to be able to use Ivory locally within Reaper as well. I play piano, and currently my instrument is just a midi controller, so I'm using Ivory for practicing, and rebooting into Windows every time. The only thing I keep a dual boot for, currently, is Synthogy Ivory II. I'd really like to get some proprietary VSTs running in Linux, rather than having to boot into windows, by any means necessary. I've been toying with this idea for a while, and it looks like the state of Linux audio is better than ever.
